Chi Nei Tsang

A holistic bodywork modality created long ago by Taoist monks in China to help detoxify, strengthen and refine their bodies so that they could achieve the highest levels of meditative practice. Translated loosely as "working the energy of the internal organs," Chi Nei Tsang improves the function of all body systems and internal organs and relieves tension caused by physical and emotional imbalances. A CNT practitioner works with the client's breath using a gentle touch mainly on the abdomen and internal organs, deeply accessing points of the meridian system, relaxing the fascia throughout the body, and encouraging the release of "undigested" emotions. CNT is extremely relaxing, can be helpful for chronic pain and is highly detoxifying on all levels - physical, emotional, spiritual and mental.
